Judging Personal Success: A Thought

Thought of the week:

Never judge your own success on the reactions of other people.

I’ve been known to do this, and it’s something I’m working on. I’m getting better. Not perfect, it’ll be a life-long quest. But it’s a goal toward which I’m aiming, that I know will play a large part in my personal happiness.

Do you have such a goal? I’d love to hear it.

I think that's a great goal! So true and so valuable.

One of my personal goals is to remind myself that what others think of me is none of my business. :)

Good thoughts here today. I think my goal is to find joy in my everyday life. I'd hate to get to the end and realize I had overlooked all the little, bright moments along the way while I was waiting for something huge to happen, you know?

That's a great thought. It's important to be happy with yourself regardless of others. Something I need to work on all the time.

Wow, Nichole, so true, oh. so. true! I guess I've gotten so used to that about my writing, but I know that isn't reliable because it is all subjective.

Me thinks that the most important others to cling to is our spouses and the Lord (as in a blessing my hubby gave me). What comfort to know that those are the only two I should seek approval for in anything at all, right??

Luv ya!! :)
